World Trade Center
30 years or so later I worked in a garden of another sort, The WTC memorial. I worked on the name plaques that surround the reflective pools, including the one that contained Bruce Reynolds name, along with the fellow PA officers he died with that day. My job was to make sure the plaques were cool to the touch in the summer and warm to the touch in the winter. I often would eat lunch in front of Bruce’s plaque.
This photo I took of his name lit up, was in the middle of the night before the opening of the memorial. I was invited to be there to represent the Steamfitters that worked on the memorial and they made us come like at 3am to go thru security.
